Low Vision Essentials for Rehab ProfessionalsThis 7-hour seminar is targeted at occupational therapy practitioners and others who work in physical medicine and rehabilitation, who would like to incorporate principles of low vision rehabilitation into their treatment of patients for whom low vision is NOT their primary admitting diagnosis. The Nuts and Bolts of Low Vision RehabilitationLearn practical tools and techniques to effectively evaluate and treat clients with low vision and document for reimbursement. Topics include anatomy, optics, low vision assessments, and facilitation of literacy, health and financial management, home safety, community mobility, and access to resources. This hands-on workshop includes three experiential labs and is approved by AOTA** and ACVREP for 1.2 CEUs.
