Learning Outcomes

  • Describe common age-related eye pathologies that cause low vision in adults.
  • Describe the impact of various types of vision loss on occupational performance.
  • Select evidence-based assessments for adults with low vision.
  • Describe intervention strategies and techniques to facilitate occupational performance.

This is an interactive seminar!

Participants are required to demonstrate satisfactory accomplishment of learning outcomes in order to obtain continuing education credit.

The presenters will assess learning outcomes through direct observations, discussions, and feedback.

If a participant has met the established criteria—i.e., attendance, participation, and seminar evaluation—a certificate documenting 1.2 AOTA CEUs and 1.2 ACVREP CEUs will be sent to the participant.

The assignment of AOTA CEUs does not imply endorsement of specific course content, products, or clinical procedures by AOTA.
